CCP already stated that everyone that bought the CE will be getting an Implant for the Gold Pod that goes into your head like all other implants.
This implant will go into a special slot that only uses this implant.
CCP says that once you plug in the implant, it will act like other implants when you try to unplug it - it will be destroyed.
CCP says the only difference is that once you plug in the implant into your head, even if your pod is destroyed, the implant will be in your clone. So once you plug it in , no matter what you will always have it. Unless you unplug it - then it is destroyed forever.
Now after you redeem your code for the implant, it will be like all other items you can sell it on the market.
I myself will be plugging my implant for Gold pod into my head, so that is one less implant on the market.
I for see this implant going for 3 bil plus because lot's of people will plug it in instead of selling it. So it will become rare.

Yes, I will have this billion isk implant installed, but it will not be able to be destroyed when I am podded.
Other than that I will only have two attribute implants installed, my +3 perception & +3 willpower since that is what I am mapped for atm & I am training gunnery/missile/spacesship skills.
So, I might get podded but I am out very little isk. I will look good in my GOLDEN POD as I get podded. :P

The idiots with the 3b+ buy orders in jita are in for a world of pain.
What you all do not understand is that once the implant for the golden pod gets installed, it is gone off the market forever.
I will be installing mine, so that is one less out there. I would think quite a few of the people that bought the CE will be installing their implants too.
Then you have the Highsec carebear alts that fly crazy fits just because they have too much isk (which leads me into highsec needs more nerfing, but that is another topic).
These highsec carebears will buy an golden pod implant just to have & plug it in. More of them off market.
If CCP never screws up the players again like the did with the SOMERgate (Somer Blink is a scam which is another topic), then these implants are going to worth a lot.
Some of you do not understand, once the implant is plugged in, it is gone forever. Unlike if someone buys a collector ship, it is still able to be sold later.

Holy sh!t,
Look at the prices of the gold pod.
only three on market lowest price 15 bil
one buy order for 7 bil
damn wished I had not plugged mine in now :(
